I have heard of an organic bug spray that uses listerine and dish soap. Do you have such a recipe

Listerine as an insect repellent
by: Larry

Using listerine as an insect repellent would probably work but that does not mean you should use it.

In the best scenerio the bugs will be killed or repelled but who knows what Listerine will do to the plant? If roots aren't damaged then it may be absorbed into your plant to give its vegetables an off-taste.

In the worst scenerio your plants will die from exposure to it.

If you do choose to use it, apply it to a single leaf and/or plant to determine its effects beforehand.

Listerine and Soap
by: Larry

I don't doubt there is such a recipe floating around but I do not have it. I'd be a little careful adding a chemical lile Listerine to your plants. It may kill the leaves and it will certainly get into the plant via the root system.
