How do i get rid of gnats in my indoor greenhouse hydroponic plants? And what happens when they get on my roots but are dead?

i have six plants and two of them had gnats, i thought i got rid of them but i didnt. I am starting to put them on flower, however, when i looked at the roots of my hydro plant there was a lot of dead gnats on my roots. will this affect them in the flowering process or should i get rid of the gnats first? also how do i get rid of the gnats that are still living?
